Learn about the history of lettering and typography, typeface classifications and typographic connections in the formation of text matter. Lectures complement hands-on projects.

  Prerequisites: You must have completed COMP 9597 (Adobe Photoshop I (Macintosh)) / COMP 9598 (Adobe Photoshop I (Windows)) , COMP 9595 (Adobe Illustrator I (Macintosh)) / COMP 9596 (Adobe Illustrator I (Windows)) and COMP 9593 (Adobe InDesign I (Macintosh)) / COMP 9599 (Adobe InDesign I (Windows)) or approved equivalents.
