  Nurse's Role in Postpartum Care

This course explores the postpartum and puerperium experience and the idea of individualizing care according to socio-cultural factors. Focus on health assessment and health promotion as well as the adjustments and transitions experienced by the new family. Also see our distance education course.


  Prerequisites: You must be a nurse (RN, RPN or IEN), and you must have completed NURS 1056 (Health Assessment) / NURS 1079 (Health Assessment) or an approved equivalent.
