This course is intended for those who are interested in or need to take a food handler certification course. If you pass, you are recognized by Toronto Public Health as a certified food handler.
This is a self-directed online course you complete at home, but you must write the proctored exam on campus. Course registration is offered through continuous intake meaning you may register in the course at any time (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Register in the section (CRN) with the date range that includes the date on which you are registering. The teacher will review the class list for new registrants weekly and will forward your course materials to you via email at that time. Please ensure you are familiar with the technology requirements specific to this course. You must write the exam before the end date of the term in which you are registered. Failure to do so will mean you must register in and pay for an additional section in order to write the exam.
