Focus on implementing and configuring wireless networks. Explore virtual local area networks (VLAN), and learn to perform the initial switch configuration (including remote access management), interpret network diagrams and troubleshoot common network issues at layers 1, 2, 3 and 7.
This course uses a blended learning approach that incorporates both in-class and online instruction. Approximately half of the course (42 hours) is held in class with a teacher; the remaining hours involve self-directed virtual lab work with the online Cisco Networking Academy. You will be required to have regular access to the Internet and email for the self-directed work.
