Learn the fundamental concepts and strategies behind oral and written business communication. The emphasis is on analysis, organization, style, tone, audience and language as key elements in producing effective professional messages.

This course meets the Business and Technical Report Writing (Course 2) requirement of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association's Fire Alarm Technology Program.


  Equivalent: COMM 1034

  Prerequisites: You must also be taking or must have completed COMM 1008 (College English) / COMM 1138 (College English) . Proof must be presented at the first class. If you have not met or have not started the prerequisite requirement by the first class, you will be withdrawn from the course.
